This simple desk was next up in the stash.
There is forever a stash.
Ho hum but in good condition. The hardware was adding to the dated feel.
New bold color from Rust-Oleum milk paint finish in “Navy” and a pop of gold for contrast. 
Hardware can make a huge difference in updating a piece!
This was the new hardware in it’s original state.
And it works. But we couldn’t resist the pop of gold against navy so we spray painted them using Rust-Oleum “metallic gold”. Just scuff them up good with sand paper and do a spray paint primer first to help with durability.
Yes, definitely better!
